A reminder that CBE follows a fall break calendar. Students last day of classes is Thursday November 7. Classes resume Thursday November 14.  Grade 6’s are selling Texas Donuts to help pay for Camp! Donuts are pre-ordered, and are $4. Flavours are chocolate frosting, chocolate sprinkles, and glazed. Paper order forms will come home next week, and are due back to classroom teachers by Friday November 15.

The Calgary Board of Education invites all parents and guardians to join us in a pre-recorded and live online series focusing on child and youth well-being. These sessions will be hosted in partnership with experts from Alberta Health Services and Recovery Alberta and will explore topics such as Peer Pressure, Healthy Relationships, Mental Health for Highly Sensitive Teens, and navigating Parent-Teen relationships. Please see the this page for more information and registration.

On November 7 we will hold a respectful Remembrance Day ceremony to honor those who served. Students gather in assembly for music, readings, and a moment of silence. Scouts, Cadets and Guides are invited to wear their uniforms. Classes will be engaged in commemorative activities, creating artwork, writing reflections, and sharing meaningful stories during the week as a way to learn about courage, history, and peace.
