Does your child ride the bus? Registration for next year school bus is now available on MyCBE. The easiest way to register is on the app. If you need a paper registration form, they are available here: https://cbe.ab.ca/FormsManuals/School-Bus-Transportation-Registration-for-Bus-Eligible-Students.pdf or you can call the office and we will send a paper form home for you. Service levels and proposed fees will remain the same as the current school year. Register using MyCBE by June 16 to be included in route planning over the summer. 

A big thank you to Louise, Kyle and Gina for visiting our school this week and teaching us about traditional knowledge. The Kindergarten, grade 1 and 2 classes learned about the Cree language and about Tipis. The grades 3, 4, 5 and 6 classes learned about drumming and indigenous games. An extra special thank you to the student hosts, Jaxxon and Ethan. They helped our knowledge keepers throughout the day and provided some extra special attention and support.  

Attention school volunteers! Acadia school invites you to a volunteer appreciation event on Friday, May 31. Please see the attached invitation. Doors open at 10:30am, with a presentation from 11am-12pm in the gym. We would love to see you and thank you for making field trips, Fun Lunches, special events and school council possible!
