Upcoming Events

Our Awesome Acadian School is participating in our second consecutive Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser!  Last year, we jumped high by raising $1590, let’s see if we can do that again by March 7!  Please click on the link https://jumpropeforheart.crowdchange.ca/80249 to find the Acadia School page and register your child, or see the attached flyer. We will be discussing how to live a healthy lifestyle, how to detect if someone is having a stroke and feature students skipping at our Awesome Acadian Assemblies.

Join us for a fun-filled School Dance Night for students in grades 1-6! Put on your dancing shoes and enjoy an evening of music, movement, and memories with your family! The event will take place on Wednesday February 12 from 6:30-8:00 in the gym at Acadia School. All students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire event. There will be a live DJ and awesome songs playing. Arrive early for entry, as the gym only holds 400 people, and admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Once capacity is reached, no additional guests will be allowed in. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to a fantastic night of dancing and fun!. 🎶💃🕺

Winter is Back!

Next week, the temperatures will dip into the extreme cold, so please ensure students are dressed appropriately with warm coats, hats, gloves, and boots. Students will go outside for recess unless the temperature reaches -20°C, as reported on the school website. Check the forecast daily and dress in layers, including boots, hats, gloves and snowpants. ❄️🧣🧤

Report Cards

A reminder that report cards are available for viewing online now. You can view report cards through your MyCBE account. Kindergarten students will have student progress reported for English Language Arts and Literature and Math. Report cards have changed format this year to align with CBE best practices. Please contact your student’s teacher if you have any questions after reviewing the report card.
