Welcome to our first 2023-2024 Week at a Glance!   

Students have come in excited and enthusiastic for their first two days of school. They are renewing old friendships and making new ones, and developing their classroom community. Thank you for sharing your child with us! 

Please remember that students arrive at school by walking, riding their bike, on the school bus and getting dropped off. To ensure everyone’s safety, please do not park in the crosswalk at 94 Ave and 5 St.  

Before school begins for the day, please call the school 403-777- 8440 to let us know if your child will be absent or late.  This will help us ensure that all Acadia students are safe and that their attendance record will be accurate. 

After you call the school: 

• press 1, and leave your message on the Attendance Line 
• please let us know your child’s first and last name (please spell the last name), teacher and the reason for the absence 

We are aware that the school calendar sent home with students is missing 3 months! A new calendar will be sent home next week.

Look for the Annual Volunteer Clearance form coming home.
