Happy Friday and hopefully a warmer weekend!

Lost and Found

We have been back for 1 month now and already our lost and found is filling up. Please encourage your children to check it out regularly as they are going to and from gym. There are some sweaters, snow pants and lots of mitts and hats sitting there waiting to return to their owners. In addition, we do have 3 pairs of prescription glasses in the office with Ms. Pinkett. Parents are always welcome to come into the school and scout out the lost and found as well.

School Council

School council will be having their February meeting on Wednesday February 8 at 6:30pm. At this meeting, the grade 6 teachers will be presenting and sharing some of their upcoming events including information about Outdoor school, PAT’s and future field trips. Although the grade 6 teachers are presenting, we encourage all parents who are interested to attend. We will be continuing with a hybrid approach where you are welcome to come in person or attend on-line. Please click on the link below to access the meeting if you are attending virtually. 

No access to the Alley

Earlier this week, we received notification that the alley way on the south side of the school (attached to 5 street) will be closed starting on Monday between the hours of 7am – 4pm. We understand that this is going to impact our families especially during drop-off and pick up. We are encouraging our families to consider walking, if possible, until this work is complete. At this time we do not have an end date, but have been told it could last up to 4 weeks of disruption.
