Orange Shirt Day – Friday, September 26 

This Friday, September 26, our school will be recognizing Orange Shirt Day. On this day, we wear orange to honour Indigenous children who were sent to residential schools and to show our commitment to truth and reconciliation. We encourage all students and staff to wear an orange shirt as a way of saying that every child matters.

A big thanks for the awesome BBQ! It was great to see all the families, current and former students, and have time to connect with teachers and see classrooms! A reminder that all parents and guardians are welcome at monthly meetings, and your participation makes our school community stronger, more connected, and better for our kids. Our next meeting is Wednesday October 8, 2025 6:30pm 

Healthy Hunger Fun Lunches 

We are excited to announce that the Healthy Hunger lunch program is back for another year! Healthy Hunger provides your child with the opportunity to enjoy a fun meal, all while supporting school initiatives through the school council.

Orders can be made online through the Healthy Hunger website. As not all field trips have been scheduled at this point in the school year, please make sure you cancel any order that conflicts with a field trip.  Thank you for supporting the school council and Acadia School

Wednesday October 8 – School Council, 6:30-7:30pm

Monday October 13 -- Thanksgiving, No School  

Tuesday October 14 – School Vaccinations
