Nov 2-6, 2026

Important Dates for this week:

Halloween Safety
Saturday will be an exciting time, and we're excited for everyone to stay safe and have fun! Here are some suggestions for having a safe experience this weekend:

• Wear bright or reflective costumes and carry a flashlight to help stay visible to drivers.
• Younger children should be accompanied by an adult, while older students should travel with a group of friends.
• Stay on sidewalks, cross only at intersections, and stick to well-lit, populated areas.
• Families are encouraged to plan a trick-or-treat route and establish a time to return home.
• Consider using face paint instead of masks, or ensure masks do not obstruct vision.
• Have an adult inspect all treats before they are eaten.
• Drivers are reminded to slow down and use extra caution in residential neighbourhoods on Halloween night.

We hope all of our students and families have a safe, fun, and enjoyable Halloween! 🎃👻 Please see the City of Calgary Halloween Safety information for more suggestions and information: https://www.calgary.ca/safety/halloween.html?redirect=/halloweensafety
