Parent-Teacher Conferences are coming up on Thursday March 21 (evening) and Friday March 22 (morning).  This is an important time to meet with your child’s teacher, visit the classroom and work collaboratively with the teacher to improve your child’s learning. All bookings are done online through your MyCBE account. Bookings begin Monday March 11 at 8am and bookings close to parents March 21 at noon. Access your parent account here: Sign in to MyCBE or use the Powerschool App.

Another important way to be involved in your child’s school is through the School Council. Our next meeting is Wednesday March 13, 6:30pm to 7:30pm, hosted in room 14. This week we welcome the grade 3 teachers! If you are unable to attend in person, you can join online: March School Council Teams Link

We continue to work on gymnastics and during physical education classes. As we continue in this second week, students will be working with other gymnastic equipment including raised beams and benches, ladders and trestles, as well as continuing mat work. A reminder that students with long hair must have it tied back and should bring a hair elastic to school every day.

A reminder that parents can provide their input into Acadia School’s School Development Plan and Budget through a survey.  The survey is currently open and closes at midnight on March 18.  Parents can access the survey through this link: https://acadia.cbedialogue.com/en/projects/2023-2024-school-year/engagements/school-planning-survey-2024-elementary
