Use of Educational Technology 

The Calgary Board of Education uses approved digital tools to support student learning, engagement, and digital skill‑building. All applications used in classrooms are reviewed for educational value and must comply with the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) and CBE Administrative Regulation 1061 to ensure student information is protected. 

Your child may use tools such as Minecraft for Education, Mathletics, Reading Eggs, and Scratch. These applications typically require only a first name, last initial, and a school email address.
