A reminder that we can provide translation services for any families that need it. This is a telephone service that we can use in real-time to help parents fully understand their child’s progress at Parent Teacher conferences. It is helpful to know in advance if you need translation. Please email your child’s teacher, or the office, if you think this would be helpful for you. 

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Parent Teacher conferences are coming up! Kindergarten conferences begin during the day on Thursday November 28. All students have conference times available on Thursday evening 4 PM - 8 PM and Friday morning 8 AM - 12 PM. Please note there is no school for Kindergarten on Thursday Nov 29, and no school for all students on Friday Nov 29. 

• Conferences are booked online through your MyCBE app or on the website.   
• Please see the school email from November 15 if you need any additional assistance.  

Bottle Drive

Ms Epp’s grade 2s, and Ms Croft, Ms Lunnin and Ms Prigotzke’s grade 5 classes will be doing a bottle drive to help pay for their Open Minds field trips. Our first community bottle drive will be during Parent Teacher Conferences. Stop by and drop off a bag of bottles/refundables to help out our classes. You can drop your bag off as you arrive through the lobby, or if you have a lot of refundables you can go straight to the Trail Bottle Depot van in the parking lot. If you miss this opportunity, we will also be collecting bottle/refundables at the Christmas concerts on December 4 and 5. Thank you volunteers who are helping organize the bottle drive! 

Nations Vision

Nations Vision will continue to see the last few students for eye checks on Monday.
