Youth Singers School Residency 

We are excited to welcome Calgary Youth Singers to Acadia School next week, through the generous funding of our school council. All week, students work with two of Youth Singers’ professional staff—a music director and a choreographer—to: 

• Learn Singing & Performing Skills: Explore physical literacy through singing, dancing, and movement. 
• Develop Self-Expression: Theatre arts activities help students build confidence and creativity. 
• Engage with Dynamic Repertoire: Perform uplifting Broadway classics to popular songs with positive messages that students love. 

We will finish our week with a dress rehearsal at 11am on Friday, in which all students will have a chance to see each other’s performances, and two evening concerts for families to attend. 

Please see the ticket information that was sent home earlier this week for details on tickets. As a reminder, we must adhere to fire code regulations for our gymnasium, which requires us to limit audience capacity. All audience members must have a ticket, even those with children sitting on laps. Thank you for your understanding. Please return forms as soon as possible.
