Hello Awesome Acadia Families,

We have so many activities happening for our final week of school at Acadia for the 2023-2024 school year!

Updates

• Grade 6 families: PAT results will be coming home in your child’s backpack this afternoon.  Please know that these results are not part of your child’s official student record nor does it affect your child’s report card mark. 
• This afternoon (and this morning for our Kam class), all classes participated in “next year day” at Acadia School. This gives all students the opportunity to visit a classroom in their next year grade level and see what next year’s learning may look like when they move up to the next year grade.  Please ask your children about this experience when they get home from school!
• Tuesday we will have the grade 6 farewell starting at 1:00 PM (doors open at 12:30 PM). Grade 5 students will be attending the farewell and all siblings of students in grade 6 are invited to come and attend as well. We invite all grade 6 families to join us as we celebrate and say goodbye to our grade 6’s as they get ready to leave Acadia School for new adventures.
• Wednesday is our dress in Hawaiian/Beach clothes.  Grade 6’s will also be putting on the sports day 9-11AM for kindergarten AM to grade 3 students and 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM for kindergarten PM and grade 4-6 students. This will be the last day of school for our K AM class.
• Thursday is our final day of school!  K pm students will be attending that day and we will celebrate our final assembly of the year.  Please note that students will be dismissed at 12:05 PM on this day.

I would also like to remind families that report cards for the final term of the 23-24 school year can be viewed online through your child’s My CBE/PowerSchool portal on Wednesday, June 26. 

It feels like this year is ending just as busy as it started!  Thanks so much for all of our parent’s support this year!  We could not have done this hard work without you!
