Acadia School is once again taking part in the annual Terry Fox Run. It will take place on Friday, September 13. For many of us, Terry’s story is well known. If you would like more information on Terry’s story, you can visit the Terry Fox Foundation website here. To date, the Terry Fox Foundation has raised over 850 million dollars for cancer research. As a school, we will be hosting an Awesome Acadian Assembly, starting at 8:00am on Friday, before warming up and proceeding to the field to participate in a school wide Terry Fox Run. We will accept any donations for the Terry Fox Fund all week, so students can bring their “Toonie for Terry” any day up to and including Friday Sept 13.
